Reverend Ronald D. Walker, Jr. is the Pastor of Word of Faith International Christian Center, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Island a satellite church of Word of Faith International Christian Center, Southfield, Michigan where Bishop Keith A. Butler, is Pastor.

Word of Faith International Christian Center was founded on November 16, 1997 and is a congregation of well over 250 members. The church has a special emphasis on missions, prayer and praise and worship. Prior to pasturing Word of Faith in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Reverend Walker served in various capacities in the ministry of helps: Outreach Department, Counseling Department, Nursing Home Ministry, Youth Department, Touch Group Ministries and as a prayer leader at Word of Faith International Christian Center Southfield, Michigan.

Pastor Ronald D. Walker, Jr. graduated Summa Cum Laude from Word of Faith School of Ministry in 1995. He is an ordained minister of the gospel whose heart desire is to fulfill the call of God on his life in the area of missions. He is an anointed Bible teacher who teaches the Word in a line-upon-line, no nonsense manner that is easy to understand and apply to your life. Pastor Walker is committed to fulfilling the vision that God has given him for the entire Caribbean beginning with St. Thomas. His desire is to equip the saints of the U.S. Virgin Islands to do the work of the ministry.

In 2003, he opened Layperson’s Bible School with 15 students in attendance. Bible School is a 2-year course designed to give layperson and lay ministers a basic working knowledge of the truths of the Bible. Pastor Walker is also the President of College Preparatory Learning Center (CPLC), a place where young children between the ages of 6-months to 5 years come to grow, learn and develop. CPLC is a school designed to develop the whole child (spirit, soul and body).

In March 2, 2008, Pastor Walker established a satellite church in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands with a 106 adults as well as children in attendance. Services were held at Gifft Hill School with regular attendance of 30-40 people.

Pastor Walker married his lovely wife, Sharon in July 1992. Their union was blessed in July 1999 with a beautiful daughter, Promise.
