Water Baptism is a biblical command given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Water Baptism is an act of obedience that is subsequent to the New Birth experience. It is an outward sign of the inward grace of salvation. It represents that we have died to sin and self, and we now live new lives in Him.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” – Matthew 28:19

Water Baptism is held at Word of Faith St Thomas on the 3rd Sunday of the month unless a special event prevent it.

Word of Faith St. Thomas provides Baby Dedication for children of families that are members aged 0-6 years.

Baby Dedication is a scriptural practice. We read in the Gospel according to Luke (Luke 2:22-33) that the parents of Jesus dedicated Him unto the Lord on the eighth day as the Law had prescribed (Leviticus 12:1-4). Also in the Gospel according to Matthew (Matthew 19:13-14), we read about how people brought their little ones to Jesus so that He might place His hands on them and pray for them.

Following the scriptural example of Jesus, during our Baby Dedication Service, Pastor Ronald D. Waler, Jr. prays and lays hands on each and every child pronouncing the Blessing of God upon their lives.

Baby Dedication is held at Word of Faith St. Thomas on the 2nd Sunday of the month unless a special event prevent it.
